Join us for a diverse and engaging weekend of hikes!

The 2025 Peninsula Hiking Festival will see the return of guided interpretive hikes and non-hiking programs, with the addition of some longer, more challenging hikes.

Friday night will feature live music and pizza and beverages from the Saugeen Peninsula’s own Tagwerk Brewing. In addition, we’ll be launching a new book by Beth Gilhespy and share stories around a campfire.

Saturday, join us after the hikes for a camp classic dinner and keynote presentation on Connecting the Past, Present and Future with Saugeen Ojibway Nation Archaeology by Caley Patrick Nadijwon Doran. Caley’s sound comes from Saukiing Anishinaabekiing territory, Saugeen Ojibway traditional territory. He is an Anishinaabe Interpretive Guide and Interpretive Program Manager with the Cape Croker Park Anishinaabe Cultural Experiences program.
